Elsa Caselli, your physiotherapist in Bascharage, graduated in October 2021 with a Bachelor’s degree in physiotherapy from LUNEX International University of Health, Exercise & Sports.. Until October 2023, Elsa is also a Master’s student in research, specializing in Musculoskeletal at LUNEX University. During her 5 years of study, she has been trained in a wide range of theoretical subjects, including anatomy, general and movement physiology, biomechanics, sports, medical and surgical pathologies, upper and lower limb orthopedics, neurology, respiratory, cardiac and vascular rehabilitation, geriatrics, medical imaging, palliative care, nutrition and more. She has also taken many practical subjects such as massage, mobilization, palpatory anatomy, examinations and assessments, cardio-respiratory rehabilitation, neurological rehabilitation, orthopedic and sports rehabilitation, etc.

The clinical part of her studies was carried out in hospitals, clinics, private practice and at home, enabling her to enrich her skills and discover all areas of physiotherapy. These internships took place at the Centre Hospitalier de Verdun, in the cardiology, pneumology and intensive care, neurological and geriatric physiotherapy departments at LE KEM geriatric hospital in Thionvillehome rehabilitation and palliative care at HELP Aides et Soins à domicileand post-operative orthopedic rehabilitation at the Clinique Ambroise Paré in Thionville. During her last internship at the Pôle équilibre et Santé in Bascharage, she was able to perfect her practice and increase her knowledge of hand traumatology, pediatric cardio-respiratory care, manual therapy and vestibular rehabilitation.

At the end of her Bachelor’s degree, Elsa wrote her dissertation entitled “The effectiveness of eccentric exercises on the musculotendinous complex in people with Achilles tendon tendinopathy”.
