Several heads (wide areas, narrow scars, delicate contours) adapt the surface. This is neither surgical suction nor a weight-loss drug: the effect rests on tissue mechanostimulation.\n\nIntensity is dosed according to skin quality — fine, inflammatory, fibrosed — to avoid useless hyperaemia. Settings evolve session after session; we do not repeat a frozen programme.\n\n## Indications retained at the practice\n\nMedical side: post-operative scars and adhesions, fibrosis, secondary lymphoedema (for example an arm after mastectomy) as a complement to [lymphatic drainage](/dudelange/competence/drainage-lymphatique), tissues too stiff for prolonged manual massage. Possible aesthetic side: cellulite, silhouette, firming — without a promise of weight loss.\n\nThe device does not replace compression, exercise or oncological medical follow-up. In a cancer context, the framework is decided with the care team.\n\n## Practical course\n\nAdapted combination, lying down. The head travels over the area: a sensation of rhythmic pinching, sometimes a little pulling on a recent scar. Duration often **20 to 30 minutes** according to the surface. Transient redness is common. Sharp pain, dizziness or malaise: we stop.\n\nClothing: garments that come off easily over the area, clean skin without thick cream. Prescription, surgical or oncological reports. Mention skin infection, recent phlebitis, open wound, pregnancy, or a recently irradiated area.\n\nAfterwards: moisturise the skin if it feels tight. Driving generally possible. Avoid intense sport or aggressive sun exposure the same day on very red skin. Desk work: according to comfort.\n\nResults: softening of a scar or easing of a feeling of tightness — often within a few weeks of regularity. Lymphoedema is judged with drainage and compression, not with the machine alone. Without benefit after a reasonable trial, we change approach.\n\n## Contraindications to rule out\n\nActive skin infection, recent venous thrombosis, major open wound, uncared-for malignant tumour, pregnancy over the abdomen according to protocol, very hot acute inflammation.
